15 to 20%?

Does that mean that it's 30-40% in US and Australia? We are growing in India and the Philippines (low cost locations).

Australia will be a bloodbath. With their perks and pay they will offshore everything they can.

The US will not be blood free it will be very hard hit in the support groups but less in direct to wells and operations. With that said the ones who are kept will only have a stay if execution until the Australia offshoring is proven successful and then the US will have another bloodbath.

Remember if you follow a process or a workflow and or do the same thing over and over you will be offshored.

They can hire them for 1/10th to 1/5th the cost of you. So get ready as the hunger games have begun.

If other parts of the business had offshored like Finance and SCM you wouldn’t all be crying you’d be helping the offshoring

Some teams will lose >80% in the US because the US employees will be replaced with people in another country. The 20% will not be spread across every team. The support teams will be centralized in LCG with management in the US until the management in the LCG can be trained, then the US managers will laid off next year. Even the Turn Arounds will be operated out of the Engine.

Every manager in every location except India will be asked to find 20% target and extra stretch. Those who cut more cost will be rewarded.

US is 50%
Low cost geography 50%

lets say total is 2,000 and cut 40% in US… that is a total of only 20% reduction globally… expect LCG to cut their very low performers only

this could go 40-50% if India and manila started hiring people tons of people
