Actually is not just the boomers. My mgr is mid career wf and uses the clock and wfh as a we-pon. But if you badge in early, and hang out at coffee shop shooting the breeze all morning, now that’s acceptable…. smh

I have a truck that looks like security …I park near the walking trails and use a hotspot.
It's part of the big mindgame: not enough desks and not enough parking creates the perception that we're overstaffed. Keeps you scared and overworking so you can dodge a PIP or layoff.
@OP are you based at the Bangalore Technology Center? Your job will be there soon, they bus the workers to site. No parking issues

@aa which lot you in? I show up 9 and always parking in Nature garage. I’ve always parked on 4th floor.
