How will they be notified since people do not sit in a designated spot? If they turn off access, they wouldn't even get an email for a meeting....

- You just remember that you will not get a reference from this company, not matter what as it is against policy to give a recommendation. You are not able to come back as an employee, direct or contract.
So read this twice and understand it.
Your only opportunity is in this call to flip these folks the bird and tell them your honest thoughts! Then keep your middle finger at the camera and the other on the power button as you tell them off !
What a great F/U moment with a hard log off the meeting - you will feel great for a long time.
You will tell your buddies every chance you get and best of all, your coworkers will be able to hear about your moment on this forum.

I saw one engineer was literally pushed outside by the security guards. Another security guard brought his laptop and gave him the personal bag and wallet only. There were like 100s of other people watching and filming.
@dg For me in 2023 it was a Webex meeting. Lost access to my computer after the call.

I was notified with an LL4 meeting, 15 minute. HR bcc'ed on it. she was on the call. it's a zoom call so you get to see the LL4 firing you, the hr person does not have her camera on
If they dint ask to work from home you are fine, that email might come anytime later evening or early morning, keep checking

How? Easy. 2 security guards show up, ask you for your badge then escort you to the gate. That's how. Don't expect to see your cowardly manager. They will be to busy hiding somewhere close watching your departure as they perform self pleasure with a sick smile and heavy breathing

This is how it was in May 2025 FNV4 Core Fun...Something. myself and most of my colegues under the same branch got an early LL4 meeting without any specific agenda. It was obvious that it was not good. After "good morning" words its farewell forever, nice goodbye, then you get Right Management tool from 3d party paid by Ford to helpwith your resume . Finally, after 5-10 min we were good to go. Released to a horrible job market. Many secured much better jobs , with the recessionproof theme or better pays, some relocated to other states. I was important, but it does not matter anymore. Experience matters with all the best there.
@av Just checked my email and teams, nothing. Tomorrow is business as usual, bunch of worthless meetings and plenty of people with a deer in headlights stare.

They will ask you to come out with all your belongings to a meeting room downstairs and walk you out after a 10min talk and legal statement read from paper
I was impacted couple of months ago. The whole department got an email on Sunday evening two work from home on Monday and Sunday. Monday morning around 8am got a meeting invite for 9am, HR and director was there.
@am Every job I have had is filled with id--ts, but Ford takes the cake on this one. Totally agree and usually said id--ts are thrusted into positions of power and control.
At least you won't be surrounded by fu--ing idiots anymore.
@ag Then you are escorted to the parking lot by security. Personal items will be packed and can be picked up later.
They send an email for meeting with a manager 2 or 3 levels up. They turn off access after the meeting.
Will the managers have the cojones to do it in person or will it be a Teams meeting?
What is tomorrow? Good luck finding a parking spot day or are free cupcakes?
