That means we're going to pause bi-weekly layoffs for a while, right? No need for it anymore, right? Right?
Yeah, I didn't think so.

@c1
You forgot the third element.
The great reset of rinse, recycle, repeat of orgs.
I think happy employees do more work. More work means company makes more money. More money means better share price, and better raises. Better raises make employees happy. Its a circular process.
CS broke that, and now morale is in the toilet. Employees are not happy. So, to fix, CS fires the USA employees, and hires them in a time zone 12 hours different.
Going though round after round of layoffs tends to deaden one against all happiness. Productivity. Pride of where one works. Frankly.....Wells Fargo is the new Sears.
@ag I was making fun of you for calling people out for doing nothing when you were doing the same thing lol I’m all for not doing anything for this bs company. Sounded to me like you were one of the boot lickers
OMG, what a lame post. Yes, I check email once in a while and do stuff. And, yes, I'm completely disengaged with my job at this point, since I'm not in a HUB and fully expect to be laid off by the end of the month. Given that WF is not getting 100% from me for the last month or two, boo-hoo for WF and those who want stick up for the company and take shots at the employees who are being sc--wed over. Good job being a stooge!
You shouldn't engage in shooting the messenger. The person pointing out the posters proudly proclaiming they won't do any work if they have to come in 8 hrs a day isnt the problem.
@a9 you are on social media right now doing this exact thing during work hours lol
You misread the posts and twist to justify your erroneous conclusions. Folks have been working from home for years (almost 15 myself) and have worked 10-12 hour days most of that time. Now WF wants to save money and wants WF employees to quit/leave to save money on severance - and so they can hire even more people from JPM (is there anyone even left there?!?).
So, it started with making people go to an office where no co-workers are located (even when approved by the dept operating committee to remain remote after covid). Then it became 8 hrs in the office. This is to get people to quit.
WF is all about making their employees' lives miserable to save some $$ - and you expect people to feel engaged, empowered, and willing to slave away for a company that couldn't careless about them?? Not sure that's how it works...but, yeah, continue putting down the already downtrodden employees of this asinine company...
Well half the posters on here proudly proclaim how they come to work and spend their days either staring off into space, blocking their calendars or hanging out on social media all day so it sounds like there are still plenty of whiny do nothings that need to get sent packing.
