Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Teams that already got the beating can be hit again?

I’ve heard of several cases. I guess they just want to make sure we don’t get a single night of sleep for months.

It is like rare event theory.

Once something happens, like being hit by lightning, it is more likely to happen again.

@e6 ORCL is top-heavy on management, the loss of a couple more is a good thing.

Can confirm - I was one of them. And just heard of at least two big managers/directors also let go. There’s no telling where the axe will fall. This company is 🗑️

My neighbor, a recently retired highly decorated USN Captain with a history of high speed passes over five air control towers, and one admiral's daughter, says don't lose sleep over something you can't influence.

Back up your important files, build a financial emergency fund and check your existing skillset.
