is this how f5 rewards hard work now? being demoted from a SVP to VP because bigip next didnt work out [because of a former bigip gm] hardly seems fair. how demoralizing

The GM role was eliminated. It’s part of the focus on a single platform from a human resource perspective. Flattening the org is a GOOD thing.
This was not a demotion. Maggie was VP, Corporate Strategy, then VP, Interim GM BIG-IP, then VP & GM, BIG-IP, and now VP, Product Management - BIG-IP. She's been at the E1 level her entire time at F5.
@ag curious how this got 12 down arrows in a 10 minute window of time....
She wasn't an SVP -- she was VP/GM -- in any case yes this is effectively a demotion.
@OP Maggie should be grateful... she still has a salary and benefits. the rest of us hard working people get RIFd
