Layoff of AVPs happened, then Directors to hire so many in Fraud. Fraud finished hiring, already there have been secret firings of directors and ICs. Maybe severance for directors but not ICs

I blew the whistle (internally) on item 4 about three years ago. The result? Fat cats keep getting fatter. Oh. And they laid me off. The scary part is that there are a lot of good folks raising their voices and trying to escalate, but leadership is more concerned with their own optics. They are not ignorant, just obtuse. Some of us though now work for the Fed and OCC. We know where the bodies buried. Reality? I love USAA. 30 year member. If it takes fat fines to get them to do the right thing? Yes please. All these leaders need some spankings to wake up. Then they need to thank the regulatory agencies that just might save them.
I wonder how much money they would have saved if leadership actually just listened to their employees.
The cuts are coming… AML hang on to your shoes….
@1cm I see you with your wire quotes going misunderstood. They want it to be one way but it's the other way.
@14b Deserve ain't got nothing to do with it.
Cooked
@f2 Not cool. No one deserves to be laid off.
Trust me, in middle of applying out. Market is hard, unable to get anything yet .
Spoke to others and while spooked,
Say that their leadership said they would have 3-5 years of job security. Lies.
If you still work in the bank, you deserve what's coming. You've been warned, yet stick around due to personal apathy. Leave now before the buyout/merger. BOA or Chase. You heard it here.
Leadership inability and lack of accountability. Why are consent order violations not fixed in long years. Scans show customers SSN's and many other code violations in logs and BANK security scans. Bank Data analytics is extremely inflated and crazily siloed and every effort is postponed for later ..
Leaders comfortably layoff low level people and play blame game.
If they continue with this madness, it's better to sell BANK and let other COSA's survive.

@ag+1jz6sw8dk, they laid off/fired people who had been at USAA before the fraud department was created
Who and when? Most of them are newer, within 2 years and have brought lots of friends.
