Wonder what the actual Fiscal Year total of # of people laid off is. When speaking about total in the fiscal year, I am thinking that the totals are getting closer to that 20K. Of course, they hired on top of that number so the net is much less.

Maybe slack isn’t such a great indicator for the count. At least not as quickly as you are expecting.
The target number thrown around was 30K, wasn't it? So it looks like 20K remain still to get laid off.
