Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

SETH: Thanks for the Q&A

SETH was a total setup: I have it on good authority that one of the question were real, and were made up to be softballs for mike.

So much for leadership transparency.

Proof: Nothing about RTO and HMP.

@OP and I have on better authority that ALL of the in-room questions were live and not scripted. I cannot guess about the pre-planned questions but those are usually pre-asked questions that get screened. Not everyone is being whiny about RTO or HMP and the Covington people probably don't care about that as much as HOU people do.

@a5 ya that wimp has been saying that since the pandemic, which has been over for a few years. So, the fact there are field jobs that require physical presence in the field means we have to be in the office for morale support? Do the field workers care or would they even know? Such bs.

Add to that the rto to a sh-t environment in Houston just so pipe-armed MW feels strong and big man. How small minded our leaders are.

@a5 I say all the field workers can pull themselves up by their boot straps and get an education if they want to work from home. Sorry I'm not sorry they can't work from home. They trash professionals all the time. So don't care about them. Go get your MAGA gear ready!

@a5
I believe MW and Chevron are trying to make improvements but people cannot be "high performers" at Chevron because the the 1st and 2nd level management hold too many people back from visibility and do not incentivize the employees to maximize their potential. too sad!

Did you attend it? MW clearly said you cannot have some folks working in Refineries, Offshore locations ..working onsite and rest have it all comfortable and convenient.. PMP ? They are going to reward high performers, good news right ?
