@4zs you genuinely seem shocked. This has been going on since pre 2019. It should be expected at this point. Loyalty to a company is bonkers. Everyone should consider themselves expendable and plan accordingly.
I have been employee for 35 years at this company. I just got laid off due to outsourcing my job to India. I am so angry and upset. This is not the same place that I have all my loyalty to. It seems like you are just a number. I don’t want to work for a company like that.
This taught me a huge lesson. You are not safe at this company. Think twice about getting a job here. They don’t care about there employees.
@3d5 it’s a strategic move to broaden titles. Gives them an excuse to give you work of other people/departments after making so many redundancies and cuts. And to make bonuses and promotions more difficult
I'm not sure about these title changes, they now seem like way too broad? gone from like way too specifically confusing to too vague.
I'm just hoping its not a way to sift people out they want to remove, I'm very much on the lower end of the food chain which makes me a bit nervous.

@2w7 My team were getting those too yesterday, thought they were phising tests but realised theyre actually names of people in the company. Presumably some HR system mess up

On a separate note, can anyone explain why I keep getting notified of other people’s absence from fusion
@2vm Yep layoffs and title changes happening Monday, at least in my division. Way to kick off the year on a horrible note Pearson.
