Looks like they did. Biggest blowout I have seen in all my years observing Allstate.

There were projections of $230 earlier this year. Allstate wil hit $225 - $230 just watch.

Peak margins and lower interest rates (less investment income) seem like a headwind for future earnings per share. Allstate (-10%) and Progressive (-14%) stocks have declined rapidly over past 30 days. Add in what appears to be a fundamentally discontented workforce and the future looks challenging. Of course, it seems to always look that way over the past 10 years from the employee's perspective!
