AK made clear on feb office hours that 15-70-15 here to stay. Also said 20-60-20 next year. Clear mission to shrink the company. Get out on your is if you can. Only people ready to retire and waiting on a package should be complacent.

People internally and in the office need to be way more vocal about the stacks 15/70/15 doesn’t work. Not whispering and rumors but calling out directly to mgt and leadership

@d3 I don’t know what to tell you folks, but I don’t think you are thinking this through. He absolutely did not, would not, and probably could not say such a thing. It would open him up to all kinds of legal exposure. Even if you wanted to believe he genuinely does not want to see any layoffs this spring, it’s just not something he can say out loud. This is wishful thinking and hearing what you wanted to hear.
Who said no layoffs? Then are all low performers getting fired through PIP?

When hearing the 15-70-15 rule officially used by the Indian clown at the top, I was wondering:
How is in his right mind would want to work for IBM ? IBM will be more a place that hires mediocre people desperate to get any job.
A woman cannot get pregnant and gives birth, she will be on the bottom 15%. No one can afford to get sick, automatically in 15% bucket.
Any new hire will get a first year reprieve from the 15% threat, after that, good luck. The retention rate will be dismal, unless, you are from the Indians tribe.

It is sad, people accepting that 15% of their colleagues can be let go on a yearly basis. The slimy Indian at the top is repeating, no one is objecting to his abject words.People are becoming selfish, they lost their compassion and humanity. He Indian stup1d clown at the top has no morals. He does not view US employees as human. He thinks, he is some kind of Maharaja of the middle ages in India.

In fairness he didn’t directly say this but it was definitely hinted at. “Flexible” works both ways. Just wants a large pool of pips because firing people is their only real “plan”.
@OP does the 15-70-15 only apply to the US and Europe only or will India be impacted too ? The swine CEO lies about everything to save his mangy hide. Hope the 15-70-15 policy applies to his Pipmunks also, it will be fun to watch them squirm for a change.

He didn't say that 60-20-20 would be introduced. They would stick with 15-70-15, but may introduce some flexibly. I think it is a cr-p system, but lets be honest about what he said.
I didn’t hear him say 60-20-20 next year. He said not all low performers should necessarily be fired. It wasn’t clear if we all get PIPs or laid off or just no bonus . He made it sound like mainly no bonus but the bonuses are such a joke anyway
