On a Monday? This might be the big one. On a positive note, you may have a chance to get severance. I have observed toxic management brutally fire employees with up to 20 year of service, not allowing them to capitalize on retirement and other benefits.

Either way you’ll get some heads up. The “work from home “ email will be an indicator. Best thing you can do for your own sanity is just block out the noise until the work from home email arrives.
In the past, it usually started on a Thursday or Friday. And a ‘Please work from home’ email would go out the previous day. Not sure what is going to happen this time though.
