I am about to get laid off as IFP. I want to just continue career at Cigna as I am familiar. But where else to apply to? All other healthcare companies like Blue Cross and others?

My recommendation is to think about your transferrable skills and what you want to do, rather than looking at industry specific jobs.
@ax no job is immune to layoffs. State/county jobs aren’t being sent overseas but yes they are susceptible to layoffs like any company.
@ac I've been unemployed since 2/19 - I've applied to some UHC & Blue Cross jobs only to get turned down.
My days are numbered - its only a matter of time til unemployment runs dry and I lose my house that I just bought a couple years ago.
I also think about where I would go. My plan is either a State job or going into a trade where I would be more in control of my future. Wishing you the best of luck
@ak nowhere to go! Layoff is everywhere! Small business is even worse.
I decide not to pursue any job like this one again. All insurance companies are in the same boat. All having AI take over and sending whatever they can overseas. All big companies really. Look at your local county/state jobs. Sure, the pay may not start out great but you won’t have to worry about your role being moved overseas. The benefits are typically better but cost more. They also still have pension plan. Cigna stopped that ages ago. Good luck 🍀
I'd apply at other healthcare companies like Blue Cross and others.
Are you seriously asking - in a public forum - how to go about finding a job?
