@e5 There are a few oddball 7V titles that have really high pay bands. Example software developers where a 7V range is like 130k-200k. I’ve only seen it once but it would be hard to believe those guys only get $5-6k yeah.

@e5 standard for 7 depending on role is 5 or 6k. 10k is for mostly band 7. Hearing some tech roles in band 6 gets 15k including AD. Not sure on Dir title tho in band 6.

@b7 7T (Hourly Engineer or Sr Engr-Spec) is $5k stock together and 10% STI. 7V (Salary Supervisor or Sr Engr-Cslt) is $6k stock together and 12% STI.

I am an AD and I have not heard this yet. I would not be surprised it is coming, but I am skeptical of both anything I read on this page, and anything the company rumor mill generates.

@b6 I'm not a network engineer, but this was really.helpful, as I had no clue how they were awarded, the amounts, or any of this. Thanks for sharing your knowledge

@ak Takes 3 to pay out, and I doubt they'll be as generous with future severance packages. Paying out all of the outstanding Stock Together totaled more than most people's bonuses.

@am Usually based on band. Band 7 historically was awarded $6000 in RSU. It's not actual stocks, just phony money using the current stock value to turn the $6000 into "items." When they pay out, it's 1/3rd of the "items" converted to a dollar value based on the value of the stock at the time of vesting that 1/3rd.

Ideally you'd see ~$2000 minus taxes, but it can go up and down from there. It's almost always gone down, except for a few years ago they gave out RSU's when the stock was $32 each, so that one paid out well.

@am Network Engineer III is more likely a 7T pay band. In which case, you’d receive exactly $5000 in stock (the NUMBER of RSU depends how many times the current stock price goes into 5000). So if it was $50 a share, you’d get 100 shares divided across the next 3 years (including any fractional shares) to add up to exactly $5000. Then, before 3/1 of the year you get the payout, it can increase or decrease, depending on what the stock price does since that time.
