The Comcast bloodbath has begun; knowledgeable and tenured employees are being slashed with no plan to capture or transition their knowledge. Many jobs are being cut, then re-posted with lower salaries and greater demands, or being moved to offshore sites. Severance packages are demonstrably stingier than in the past. Thanks to the "Big Beautiful Bill", Comcast has a windfall in tax breaks. Kudos to all the fools who still believe in "trickle down" economics. I wonder who Comcast. Amazon, Meta, etc. will sell to when the American working class is eliminated entirely?

More layoffs in November…so sad…told we were ok…a few months prior…
I've personally seen the offshore dev teams increase 300% over a number of years. Sickening
100% True. Indian VP’s and Directors are offshoring hundreds of positions to India.
People with decades of experience were replaced by H1B and offshore Indians.
I feel better knowing all US billing information and viewing habits are floating around India.🇮🇳
There are many, many jobs being posted currently overseas and it’s disgusting to watch as many workers are scrambling to find a job after the layoffs. So what’s the end game? In the end you’ve got more risks than profits Total chaos. As if customers didn’t already complain about this just in CS!! Who trains these people in India/Philippines? Selling out their American workers for foreigners…great plan. There should’ be penalties for this. And every company is doing this right now…
@10r all the jobs are moving offshore. While they try to buy Warner bros. As if they aren't leveraged enough. Getting their @sses handed to them by competitors.
@by Correct, just looking at the job listings on career hub all recent engineering ops jobs that have been posted are located in Chennai India.
@ac the shareholders. It’s all for them. Little do they realize this company is eating itself to hold that price up as long as possible. Comcast is a scam company they have been tricking investors to hold by selling off parts for as long as possible. Those of us that work here know how bad it’s getting. This company will probably not turn a profit or survive past 5 years.
@b8 let's see how many of them end up with jobs. I'm not saying this to be smug. It's reality. They are sending the professional class jobs to Chennai.
@b8 a lot of people are mentioning in other threads that new jobs are being posted. Maybe that’s incorrect, not sure. Offshore customer service, or? Who is training these people? It’s hard to imagine how they will sustain this. People have complained about this with Comcast for as long as I can remember. There has to be a level of trust between a company and its clients/businesses alongside the products they provide here in the US. This is definitely not it.
It's all going offshore unless they need boots on the ground. Seems like desperation to me. haven't heard they are posting for US jobs.
Lots of VPs being hired and staying? The Comcast that once was is no more it seems. People I’ve talked to actually used to like working there, so what happened? Who is making these current, insane decisions at the top?
