Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Forced Ranking and no raises

So will we be moving toward forced ranking and no raises this year? Will Mike announce this in the shared energy town hall.

I was told by my GM that everyone gets VC. After a ROM, who cares - apparently that is the message.

Welcome to the party Chevron!

ExxonMobil has been doing these for years. Someone up above decides in some arbitrary number and that is the percentage of people who must be in the bottom bucket.

If you believe that has anything to do with actual performance you are fooling yourself. Bootlickers and DEI hires always get bumped up a level or two. Those nearing retirement age….in the bottom you go.

It’s a 100% drain on personnel.

Enjoy

Hopefully the only thing MW announces in this townhall are his and MN’s retirements.

@ac trouble is, the bottom feeders are the cockroaches that know how to survive.

"Forced ranking? I hope so. Finally bring all the slackers and bottom-feeders to light. There needs to be some mechanism to get rid of the parasites, layoffs don’t seem to be cutting it."

In case you have not been reading the posts, that is all CVX has left....
