Thread regarding Elevance Health (Anthem) layoffs

Fortune 100 Best Places to Work For

We did it t everybody! We have the honor of working for one of the 100 best companies to work for in 2025! In fact, we are number 46.

What an incredible accomplishment, especially when you consider what a complete dumpster fire this place has become. Most people I know dread logging into work everyday and dealing with the toxic hellscape this place has become.

This ranking was paid for, and brought to you by Hellevance Health.

Everyone knows this “accolade” is a complete farce and does not reflect the sentiments of the employees. Elevance Employees hate this company.

To the ppl commenting that it can’t be valid because “there were no employee surveys”, LMFAO!!! Employee surveys are BS as is the (purchased) Best Place to Work award. Please grow the F up. Educate yourselves, for your own sake.

This would be believable if they had not stopped giving out annual surveys to workers. That they stopped doing those should be a giant clue as to how much they care.

@gc+1jqvzmfqz, do you ever ask yourself why you’re such a doooooosh? Also, has anyone ever told you about commas?

I don’t understand why everyone is crying on here. If you were that great of an employee you wouldn’t have lost your job. Do you ever ask yourselves why it was you and not others? Why were you selected? Yes carry a mirror and do some soul searching lazy losers.

Well I don’t believe we had an employee survey to vote for this stupid honor so I will assume her minions and the offshore folks were the ones that voted. They are the only employees currently benefiting from the layoffs.

I’ve never laughed so hard when Gail’s email hit my inbox. I mean who is taking the survey? Got exceeds expectations which amounts to a $2.22 raise per day, sh---y AIP, no COLA raise in the last 5 years even tho inflation was the highest it’s ever been. No opportunity for growth and you have to worry about getting riffed? Not to mention our health insurance is terrible for being employed by the company.

Totally ridiculous—Fortune 100 company shutting down Ireland offices and continuously laying off employees. And just a week after the announcement, Gail comes out saying this… is that what good leadership looks like? Damn, I wish she could switch roles.

‘Best place to work’ awards are starting to feel meaningless—if they ever meant anything at all.

If there was data collected for this in order to qualify then they probably only sent a survey for this to the d-ck riding staff VPs. Only thing they are all good for anyways.

Again another troll on a layoff board touting their love affair with Elevance. Telling people who have lost their job that it’s a “you” problem is daft, judgmental and incredibly insensitive. You got lucky is all. You trolling and posting on a layoff board doesn’t actually make you Rhode scholar. Doubt brains are keeping you employed. Pretty sure it’s your talent at political fe-----o. Go gloat somewhere that appreciates insensitive boastful su-k ups.

This is layoff.com you f__c_t_rd! I loved my job as well and dedicated 20 plus years, worked long hours and deserved every new title. Where did that get me, making too much money and replaced by someone younger and cheaper. My performance review was stellar, so don’t try going after that. Get off the layoff boards boasting “best company “ if you have a job, as no one works there anymore! Go back to your director and tell him or her what you’ve read today and don’t come back until you have been Rif’d. Watch your back!

I am an employee who likes my job and my direct boss. Respect others opinions but it feels like there’s a lot of prior employees on this board who are just angry. For those who are unhappy and still ann employee find a new place to work that will make you happy. I don’t normally post on this board but sharing one persons opinion ( and probably others) not on this site. God bless

Interesting since there was no employee survey last year or this year so far. Wonder where that “data” came from?

Let this sink in. The org got this without an annual survey for employees because they already knew its not a great place to work and yet, the org was still rewarded with a higher ranking....

Here, fixed it - 100 Great Places to Work for SLT. I would 100% vouch for that and even repost it on linkedin.
