Can LC stop rocking back and forth

I’m getting seasick.

How many of these “leaders” even know how a computer works, let alone a gas plant, an oil field or a refinery?

The truly sad thing: this is evidently the best we can do from a limitless supply of global talent.

LC has the charisma of a brick. A brick on a rocking horse, apparently, but a brick nonetheless. But hey, at least it wasn’t so obvious that he was reading off a prepared statement this time. Progress!

@hj+1jnmjx2d1 so this is like giving management (aka wanna be leaders) another chance to be more direct and decisive. I feel for those who will report in the new org. This company is being managed by narcissists.

Yea seriously, what has KB done in IT to be able to run ERP and supply chain IT.

She was a consultant and then a planning manager. There’s no real IT knowledge there. Giving her something like digital core is just a disaster waiting to happen.

The same leaders through and after imagine IT coming out as leaders through and after this reorg is what’s wrong with chevron IT in a nutshell.

We may be watching the demise of CVX … would you jump off the titanic, push others out of the life boat or go down with the ship? Now’s the time to make your decision…

CL was absolutely going to replace LC.
CL was actually going to replace BB but he had no successor ready at the time, so Chevron went and got this other loser, as in a guy who was bypassed for CIO at GM, not once, but twice.

Now he’s bringing in all his other passed-over friends. It is a sinking ship.

TK and MA were handpicked by BB, so no idea what you’re on about. CL was never going to replace LC. People in the CISO position jump about every 10 years, usually before they know a shtshw is coming which leaves a company open to an incident.

He INCREASED the number of GM 28+ positions while sunsetting AG, RS, CL, MC only to replace them with his GM buddies.

US IT is cut by 30-40%, but the number of PSG 28 positions increased. For his people, none of whom know the oil and gas industry.

In SETH, MW said 15-20% cuts at every level. But all we did was cut deeper at every level and increased the FLT positions.

Body language experts say "Rocking can be a manifestation of anxiety, restlessness, or fear, as it can be a way to release pent-up energy or discomfort". Yep!
