Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

How long after layoff are you paid?

Question for those of you who have been impacted by a layoff recently: I understand that you receive a call/ meeting with HR and you are separated that day. How long after that date did you receive your regular pay (not any severance)? Also, how long did benefits continue, specifically health insurance? Thanks!

It is a lump sum payout. They’re not going to torture you by giving you a check every two weeks. It is also written in the policy.

@c1 the OP was not talking about severance unless I misunderstood.

@c1 it is one time lump sum. Paid on severance date = job elimination date. Date you get notified = notification date. My notification date and severance dates were 60 days apart. This flexes depending on the situation.

@ab Is that for every pay grade? I had heard previously that it was a one-time payout.

Was on payroll for 60 days after notification. Health benefits continued during that time. Then switched to cobra.

Regular pay comes in the regular pay interval. Every other Friday one week behind.
