They have mastered the art of rewarding cuts instead of effort. Executives keep cashing in while employees lose benefits and customers lose patience. Every quarter it’s the same flashy story for investors while the rest of us deal with the fallout. It’s hard to see where any real future fits into that plan.

In typical WFC fashion, the geniuses in Hudson Yards got rid of Process Engineering at the time it's needed most. Of course the leaders of that area leave a lot to be desired so it's not like they were advocating their value.
@ab Agree. The culture changed considerably. Sorry to hear that you’re in such a challenging situation in your personal life.
I learned a long time ago in this company. Find a job you enjoy doing, do your best and reap the rewards. At the same time, make as much money as you can as fast as you can while looking for the next best gig. If you think the company is going to stick it to you. There’s always social media.
Best of luck.
Wells Fargo is the only place I worked where I truly feel like a number, not a human. They ripped away everything climbing the corporate ladder is about. No assigned seating, you literally need to fight for a seat to sit. Manager title used to get you an office. Raises, promotions all gone. Your voice doesn’t matter, the stock price and adding more executive layers is all they care about. Rescuing and shifting after every layer of layoffs to make sure work is not impacted because somehow not enough budget for help somehow will fall onto your performance. I can’t just leave, I have a dependent on chemo. I had a plan for my strategic next move until the last few months because I don’t want to be in this awful job market. I hope US corporations start valuing employees again. We went from work life balance to dangling our jobs over our heads seeing how we will dance for them like puppets.
The back office of this company is held together with digital duct tape. I’ve thrived for decades, pulling back the tape and exposing everything that’s wrong that I can find. The reason I’m ready to leave the company is that no matter what I report to management they don’t have the resources. I can work 24/7 if I wanted to. That’s how much actionable work I can provide.
I’m just tired of constantly hearing that we don’t have the resources to perform necessary maintenance on the items I bring to their attention.
So, we’ll see. Will I get severance or terminated with cause.
