US corporate employees received messaging to work remotely on Thursday January 15th 2026. Reasoning was to facilitate multiple meetings regarding department changes. Very similar tone to last year's email. Staff is worried.

NRE here. We lost several and were told new positions would be in the office. We are all panicking as we now have to train these Genpact ppl. This is scary times for all of us. We just pray we get a timeline of how long we have until we're all canned

Just for clarification, what is an “OTL”?
Any word on how NRE and divisional offices were impacted? At what point to they just have GenPact do all of the work to save money.
I’m sorry to all impacted. I was impacted in the last round. Try to stick it out if you can, get the money and then start your search immediately.
All OTL positions laid off today and some Benefit Asst positions laid off.

She works at a distribution center in an office lead position. She's the one in charge of office personnel. All office personnel throughout the U.S. have been told to work from home tomorrow. My spouse has 9am virtual meeting with her boss and regional VP tomorrow morning and afterwards the VP will meet virtually with my spouses team. Others my spouse have spoken with in different divisions throughout the states have been given the same instructions. Any idea what this could be?
