@a8 @a8 Why are you putting so much effort into commenting on every post that provides employees with resources to protect their legal rights and gaslighting them with information cherry-picked from the EEOC website? Whose side are you on? (rhetorical question)

For everyone else on this site experiencing gaslighting from USB leadership or their mo--s and trolls in the comment sections - There are several actions USB has taken or plans to take against its employees that the EEOC does, in fact, investigate. A couple examples:

  1. Disparate impact of equal pay, where employers establish compensation practices tied to remote vs in person workers performing the same work that disproportionately affects protected classes

  2. Anti-American national origin discrimination, where employers illegally favor foreign visa holders over qualified U.S. citizens, citing lower labor costs or stereotypes as defenses for their discriminatory hiring and/or termination practices

@aa Huh? Posting a list of what EEOC protected categories actually are constitutes being a troll? Impostor? Impersonating what? You sound a bit uneducated dear.

I despise what USB is doing. But people are suggesting opening a case with EEOC for items EEOC does NOT help people with. Not hard to understand. You may not like this, but it's reality.

Some of the things USB is doing S U C K. But some of the proposed solutions on these threads, while well-intended, are not going to help anyone.

Please educate yourself a bit more on reality, and take your future into your own hands.

Cr-p, I forgot to delete that laundry list below where I said "USB is doing some REALLY sh---y things lately but EEOC doesn't deal with these types of complaints." Sorry about the clutter!

OP I applaud your efforts here, but this is directly from the EEOC website: "EEOC handles complaints of employment discrimination based on race, national origin, s-x (s-xual orientation and transgender status), pregnancy, religion, color, age (over 40), disability, genetic information, or retaliation for opposing or participating in an investigation or lawsuit related to such discrimination. You may continue to answer the questions if you wish. If you decide to file a charge, EEOC is required by law to accept the charge and to notify your employer of the charge. If the facts stated in the charge do not raise claims covered by the laws EEOC enforces, we dismiss the charge."

Changes to work location (RTO vs hybrid or remote), pay ranges by pay grade or geography, or overall compensation or promotion opportunities based on where you physically work are not the types of things covered by EEOC.

USB is doing some REALLY sh---y things lately but EEOC doesn't deal with these types of complaints.

Age (40 years of age or older)

Color

Disability or related accommodation

Genetic information (including family medical history or participation in genetic services like counseling, education, or testing)

National origin or ethnicity

Race

Religion or related accommodation

S-x (including s-xual orientation; or transgender status)

Pregnancy (including childbirth or related medical condition) or related accommodation

Retaliation - Complained to the EEOC about job discrimination, harassment, or retaliation

Retaliation - Complained to another government agency about job discrimination, harassment, or retaliation

Retaliation - Complained to an employer, staffing agency, or union about job discrimination, harassment, or retaliation

Retaliation - Helped with or was a witness in someone else's complaint about job discrimination, harassment, or retaliation

Something else (if you select this, EEOC will tell you they cannot handle your issue).
