Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Since being aquired by CHC and now OPTUM I can say that Layoffs are the ACTION THAT NEVER ENDS. It is a rolling layoff plan, that ki-ls motivation like I have never seen in 30 years of working.

I have yet to meet a highly driven go-getter. Now I know why - we all feel we are going to be next. So Gross

@b2 are you saying you ONLY got one week of PTO as severance or a severance package plus a week of PTO?

I’ve heard of numerous layoffs. Are they being offered a severance package?

My care navigator department just got an email stating effective immediately dispatch health is no longer around. Optum funded them largely so im unsure what this all means.

Yes, everyone has been laid off. On a serious note there have been lay offs almost on the weekly basis. The difference is in the numbers and WARN requirement, which means some go public, and so go unnoticed.
