Total ridiculousness how they are gushing over a movie on this town hall meanwhile we can’t even get a decent raise. Fu-k you all managing committee.

@aj They've actually answered the "no one else in my department works at my hub" question before. They said there is still value in being around (collaborating with?) other USB employees. Obviously a very stupid answer since it's unlikely that we would ever talk to any of these people.
@ak I don’t live in the branch footprint and people around here definitely don’t know about USB unless they’re from the Midwest or California. It takes some explaining when people ask about where I work.
@ah oh, now that’s interesting. Do tell.
I’d say it’s a waste of $$. Everyone in this country already knows about US Bank in the same way we all know about Chase. I’m sure whoever in marketing worked on this project though had a fun time. Wish I knew what a fun time here looked like.
There are a lot of employees that live around a hub, but they are the only one on their team who works out of that hub. Somehow, the question of whether it makes sense for them to have to drive in traffic only to work in an office where they have no interaction with the other employees never gets asked. How is this better than working from home, taking calls where there is no noise/distractions? It has nothing to do with collaboration and everything to do with CRE and inducing employees to find another job. I certainly am looking, and if hired, will probably just keep my USB job as long as I can.
@ag sure it will it will get the CMOs son onto a professional team
Does anyone even watch lacrosse? That is a huge waste on money that will not get any return on investment.
Look at her pretending to care about us..........
"Move to a hub"
Eat sh-t
@OP, not sure why this bothers people. I am all for sponsoring movies, events, and other initiatives to ensure our brand recognition is high. I think sponsoring Happy Gilmore 2 is awesome.
I wish Gunjan could see how bad morale in the office is. She might want to walk the floors at Plaza sometime and not just the ones where she tells them she is coming. Just show up, there is no FUN, no working together, we are all trying to find a conference room or space to take our calls.
I say none of this to be negative. I'd like to see a better, more collaborative working environment at U.S. Bank. We had it in 2017 before we went so hard on Offshoring. Also I like Offshore. We are just far too dependent on it now and it reduces how much we can accomplish. Thanks!
Layoffs....no large scale layoffs. But there are pockets....local impacts. Leave that door open so we can spin this @#$% later.
@aa She’s so full of sh-t.
“Sorry I get lost because I love reading the questions” … No GK, you’re trying to skip through the RTO/Find a friend comments and questions.
Is the retention statement true? Maybe, people could and should just ride it out u til they get paid! Also do the rifs count as attrition? Someone in finance let us know!?
Employee attrition is low because people aren't leaving due to the dumpster fire of a job market/economy.
This is inspiring, makes me wish I could colaberate 8 days a week. Just thinking when elss can I smell someone else's turds all day and listen to Brenda yell for 6 hours straight on a call
Gunjan smiling just now on the employee retention question. We know your plot to fire and outsource as many of us as possible.
See something, don’t dare to say anything cause you placed a target on your head and will be fired.
Also how they lie about remote positions existing before 2020. U.S. Bank always had remote when it made sense, in office where it made sense, and hybrid where it made sense, and used common sense to determine when there's benefit to teams being together and when there just isn't.
Now they just gaslight us with this Orwellian "return to office" language for those whose positions predate covid and always were remote and pretend driving 2 hours a day, missing critical meetings to do it, all to sit with no one in your department is somehow a benefit.
We Put People First: Nope.
We Do the Right Thing: Nope.
Man I miss Richard.
Tens of millions spent on movie tie-ins and sports sponsorships, but cant afford to pay industry standard yearly raises and all new hires have to be offshore. makes sense.
Life at us bank is he-l where are those slides?
They are so out of touch.
