Luckily, I have started with a job search already. There are other options, and I’m currently weighing one. Good luck to all the folks who need this job badly for the foreseeable future.

Good move. If you're in Houston, the nice part is having so much O&G right there on Louisiana street. You can swap jobs with minimal disturbance to your life. Other locations will have a harder time.

The SETH stated 2025, but the financial news stated 2026 because 2026 will include the Hess merger and more employees will be let go after that merger is completed.
