Yesterday afternoon, facilities put a large stack of moving boxes, tape, and markers outside of every floor at Anchorage ATO. 3 weeks before layoffs start lol.

@11f The Conoco way. Don't like the original forecast, fudge the numbers to make the project look better. Anything to get you to the next level. You'll be on to your next role before anyone notices it was you.
The interns and new hires from Anchorage never seemed to be top tier either, in fact the opposite. Most were big talkers about themselves who presented others work in Houston. Thought they were so special for being in Anchorage office.
who cares about anchorage office? always an under performing office made up of bitter and incompetent arco ppl.
already 1 billion over budget at willow. couldn’t find their butts until independents found fields next to and under their acreage. good riddance.
My office mostly cleared out already. Just keeping basics now.

Instead of whining, pack your things. If someone else packs them for you don't be surprised when they are damaged. If you make it through layoffs, big chance you will have to change offices so might as well leave them packed until then, except for things you'll need day to day.
@c9 when you spend a majority of your day in the office (unless you've been secretly WFH) it makes sense to make it more homey so it's not somewhere you despise to be.
You shouldn’t have personal stuff in your office anyways.
This morning on SP1 I saw third party folks bringing in boxes on our floor.

This lay-off has awoken the ghosts of Arco employees from previous layoffs who still haunt those halls in the tower. I would be a little nervous working late around that building this Halloween season.
