Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

Is this really how it's done?

Woke up to hearing our teams abroad got cut massively, then 20 minutes later got put into a call with over 100 people in the US (pre-recorded...) where we all got laid off. Seemed like the whole Next team and maybe some collateral?
A prerecorded call with 100+ people being laid off at once? Are you kidding me? Can they be less considerate than this?

@qj maybe you should join AA too as you seem to be spending a lot of time here too.

@ae Remember WAF EXPRESS

Many people told them that was stupid, most of the folks technically security minded etc but sales VP Varun won out and got his way then bailed. And it sank painfully of course and they tried to do away with it very very silently lol

They really just don’t know what they don’t end of day

Surking on that FLD°ngalong

@OP Yes, it is. Going to sleep one day, you don't know if you will be able to log in the next morning. Assume nothing, expect everything. Mind your daily business.

It's a business decision. It's a cooperate world we live in. Upper MNGT bet on the wrong products (which is NOT the 1st time, remember the Mesh? Blue? Purple?) workers pay the price when it is not sold or received by customers. To survive, we need to stay marketable, stay skillful, build fruitful networks. The current economy does not help us right now. Good luck to all impacted!
