Anyone know if there is a severance from Oracle? I heard 6 months?

They treated me really well in Sept I had a job lined up because I got a wink it was going to happen so I was already in the final stages of my hire process so got to bank all of my
severance. thats what happens when you are in good with those in the know.
turns out i would be my old bosses boss. it is true they pay more elsewhere
I think the gods and goddesses that I was booted in sept instead of now good luck the market for jobs is going to be cut throat.

@a8 It was. I got 26 weeks minus. 8;weeks of notification period so 18 weeks net.
@a7 That was not the case last year.
And any notification period is deducted from it.
Mine today was 4 weeks for the first year then 1week per additional years with a max up to 6 months
I believe it was 3 weeks for first year and then 1 week per additional year of service
