I see for some it's 12/19 and for others it's in February. I'm sure there are other dates in between as well.

It also depends on severance. If you are getting over 90 days of severance then the WARN notice is moot.
@a8 my guess is since it’s different for people in the same state, your boss probably had input so the quicker you’re out the shittier of a boss you probably had.
NJ WARN mandates 90 days off the book from notification day 11/20 - 2/18
they told me february. im nj employee
I'm a NJ employee and was told my last day is Dec 19th
I was told I’m on Books till January 24, network ops field tech 20+ years 60+ old
This is false. I’m in VA and got 30 days and not the standard 60 that the state would follow for WARN. Talking with a few others it seems like 30 is the standard across the board with a few exceptions.
@OP it depends on your state and whether a WARN was required determining how many days notice you are given. If you live in a state that did not hit the number required to trigger a WARN, then it’s 30 days; otherwise for some it can range from 60-90 days. I know NJ has additional rules around this.
Depends on the state WARN notice period.
I know for NJ, they need to give employees 90 day notice by law.
The dates are set by state, since different states have different WARN notification periods.
