Synopsys Dublin Ireland layoff

Got laid off yesterday. Have been working in synopsys from last 3.6yrs. Not sure what range of severance package should expect?
No formal HR communication!
Any help regarding Irish benifits?

I got affected and was informed today at Dublin office. I’m promised a really strong severance package. Manager informed based on prior redundancies, one would not regret getting the redundant due to strong severance.

@OP Did you get more information from HR ?
I was told that people were getting garden leaves enabling them to get bonus, but I don't know if it is in all region.
Best of luck

@a4 as expected, the management is targeting non-Irish. Needles to specify, who the target is!

Sorry to hear this @OP. After 2 years you are entitled to state redundancy. All the details are here.
https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/employment/unemployment-and-redundancy/redundancy/right-to-redundancy-pay/

For the company paid redundancy, the process is more complicated and should be negotiated with the employer, you may want to get a lawyer to talk about it.

@OP unfortunate. Even I got affected from Dublin office. PCIe group. No clarification on severance package yet. Looks like - the list is big from Dublin office.
