@a8 Owned Brands has been hit with 10 -30 layoffs a month since October '24, when they gutted Design, Technical Development, Engineering in H&H, E&B, Apparel. Basically everything that didn't support, or got in the way of, B Foudy's "Tiered Engineering" initiatives (aka pass everything excluding quality, Sourcing and Corp initiatives off to the Vendors in a an effort to do be more flexible and nose dive to "MVP" or Minimum Viable Product level) . Tiered engineering was planned and set to start happening way back in 2020, but CCOVID and the WFH/Remote profit bubble of 2020 got in the way of.
We all know that TII won't be impacted by this. They want to make Target better, then they should get rid of TII. They keep laying off US Team Members and then replace them with TII.
@OP can you elaborate on what you know about supply chain?
Wfh going first. Time to go back.
Reality of "going to work" going to set in people. Tine to get daycare!

@a8 probably not. it is one of the most profitable in last few years

@OP On Reddit somebody said Jill Sando and Rick Gomez were out, which would suggest merch is gonna get turned inside out in the process. Until you see the emails with your own eyes though take it for what it is, third hand speculation.
@OP based on the number of people expected to be let go it’s going to be every department
