Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

No logical end in sight for the time being, they will have to do something to balance the reported "headwinds" in 2026. I'm sure everyone is seeing the large layoffs in other industries as well. It's all so troublesome, especially with rising insurance premiums coupled with potential loss of subsidies above the 400% poverty level. This is all going to get so much worse. I have been looking into ACA marketplace rates for a family of 4 and the monthly cost without subsidy is insane. Our system can't keep going like this. I guess we have to truly crash and burn before this (hopefully) gets better.

It's sad to see that Cigna is still laying off employees since 2023. I left a little over a year ago, and realize that the entire industry is doing the same thing.

@a8 I believe 11/6 & 12/4 were dates I heard earlier in the year but not sure.
I am curious if anyone knows the JE dates for 2026 that he/she could share.
