I can confirm a method to see if your role is impacted in an imminent RIF: Go to your HCM Service Apps > Personal Info > My Compensation and look at your "Effective Period."
If it has changed from "Ongoing" to a specific future date (a week or 5 days from now), that is very likely your termination date. This is exactly what happened to a colleague who was just laid off.
Has anyone else verified this? It seems to be a reliable early signal.

@ad That's the neat part, I don't.
@a8 That old trick was checking theworknumber dot com for employment verification. Worked within the two week pay period, if your status was no longer 'active', it meant you were being laid off in the next 2 weeks (that pay period). May still be reliable, not sure.
Isn't that after the fact?
@a1 How do you know?
I can confirm it for another small SME i was before. I figured it out myself. Then contacted my manager and got fired at the same day. But would not assume Oracle is this unprofessional.
A similar trick worked back in 2017. You could request an employment verification form, the kind you might provide to a lender when applying for say a car loan. If you were on the block it would show your termination date,
Termination date is at least 21 days before the termination date, so by the time effective period is indeed updated you are already out.
Mine still says "Ongoing" and I'm most definitely in the chopping block.
