Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

I see a lot of positions in ICG posted internally. How is it over the there? Thinking about applying internally.

Avoid like the plague. Current management has deep deep problems and ethical issues right now.

I am only a few years into my career and am in ICG. I can confirm the no training no communication part below. It's a mess.

If it’s anything grade 12 or higher, give it a chance.
Anything less than grade 12 is not worth the pay/politics of the job.
I work in ICG and advised several people asking to stay away from any non exempt roles.
There is a reason why there are more than 12 openings in ICG.
In the past month 5 people from one specific team quit, 2 from another team walked out, and 4 others were able to transfer out to GTM.
Top it off, they just restructured how the group supports business lines and provided zero communication and zero training.
It’s a mess.

@a8
ICG = Institutional Client Group which is the new acronym for what was Commercial, Corporate, Specialized, and most of Community Banking.
