How long will it be before we know how many have opted out of the crazy and taken the severance package? And then how long before we know how many more will need to be laid off to fulfill the goal set?

Do not train anyone or hand off notes.
@cc if you see someone based on LA or NY that kind of check out and no longer cares, you know that they have opt in.
i think it's fair to ask this question even just to understand impact on our work/teams moving forward, but the org has been absolute dogshit at letting us know outcomes from previous layoffs and i expect that to continue forever at this point. you will find out if someone took the package if they choose to tell you, or in a few weeks when you need happen to reach out to them only to find that their slack account has been deactivated. same for whoever is in the next round of layoffs. same for whoever leaves as part of phase 2.
@by The opt-in data is insufficient to answer your questions. You need to wait until after the layoff is done to know your team capacity.
I'm interesting in knowing those that took the buyout because the deadline was last night 09/15/2025, and their last day is 10/31/2025. They should at least be transparent with this info. We need to know how many ppl remain to determine teams capacity.
There is no way they are releasing these numbers...why would they? I agree it would be great info to have but unless someone in HR leaks that info here there is no way they are releasing that info publicly.
Thank you ,for that response @a8+1k587qht4😂.
It’s basic desperation at this point. This site is red hot with comments. Survival will be difficult and terrible.
Why would they tell you? That kinda stuff is confidential. That's why it has to be leaked through layoffs.com
