Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Cigna Integration

Anyone else curious about how Cigna employees are going to integrate into HCSC? It seems very divided still… Anyone heard anything about joining/merging of departments or teams?

it feels like hcsc employees are expected to adapt to how cigna does things based on the way reorgs and process changes are going.

Cigna wouldn’t buy us back for $10.

Which VP will resign next? Should we organize a pool and take bets?

@19r and those that do… well, it’s probably because of something THEY did.

Pretty short list of people who openly dislike Josh. Be careful or you'll out yourself.

I’m pretty sure whoever keeps bringing up Josh in different posts is the same person. Sorry, your recruiting in disliking him is not happening.. it’s the same “Is Josh still around?”

Yes, he is. Move on with your life..

@xv Josh is a great leader who has led operations and support functions across multiple lines of business in government and commercial.

He is a great developer of talent and follows through on commitments. He believes in operational excellence.

The better question is probably why are you still here.

I heard now that the valuation was $3.4bn
They are going to sell it back to Cigna for $6.2 bn

@fk if it is worth anything...I think what our ridiculous president is doing the same...his cabinet choices, much like HCSC leadership choices fall to pass the smell test of bring in top talent.

@f6 HCSC seems to using other people's money to advance a social agenda they...c suite folks and one level below...fits a narrative they desperately want. You would never see any of these shirnaigans with a for profit company that has to report to shareholders. This is really amazing to watch. Hope they are successful in a lot of ways, but doubt that.

Seems to be happening as we speak with all the reorganizations amongst other things like budget tightening, rebranding, technology reviews etc etc etc

I am sure just as seamlessly as Dearborn was…. Sorry I can’t keep a straight face. It will be a colossal disaster with bozo buckets running us into the ground. They don’t have any plans or infrastructure to handle this acquisition.
