Everyone. Put in those picks today and enjoy your long weekend. You have no control over the situation. Boxes are already filled. Quit wasting the reps and the job owners time. They won’t tell you anything you don’t already know.

@a8 The talent card appears to lack credibility, as anyone can easily present an impressive one. This job selection process seems questionable, given the absence of interviews and the disregard for past performance.
I do believe some people are "off the slate" for certain jobs. My opinion is just based off things directly said to me versus what kind of lackluster responses one of my coworkers has received from the same people.
Sounds like they met with someone else who also wanted that job and would be better and you weren’t going to be on their short list so they saved you an application
@aw meaning they already know who they will get the jobs as long as they don't EOI. My job rep told me specifically which jobs to avoid with a wink of the eye. Ya, so they already know who they want for specific roles. May be not all the jobs but I would say a vast majority.
filling in my talent card and listing my accomplishments made me realise I have outgrown this place. not a criticism. just time to move on
What do you mean the boxes are filled?
Take the time to update your talent card. As cynical as it sounds this is also a perfect time to update your resume. Copy and paste. It has been a while since I updated mine (>10 years) so now I have it. Even if you get a job still update unless you plan on retiring soon.
But there’s so much choice of absolutely no consequence!
Ignore the turds here. This is the way.
No I'm sure the effort I put into the talent card directly correlates to me getting a job
