Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Someone's feeling got hurt about the investor comments and got it removed. That won't change the leadership issues.

Maybe they should lease another jet while oil prices are high.

With the price of jet fuel today, it’s like they save money by flying the last few years. That type of leadership should be rewarded and promoted. I would count that as strategy

@az

I think you’re forgetting just how visionary their leadership was. Think of all the advances and innovations we’ve delivered as a result. Truly profound strategy.

And I’m sure they were working really hard in that time. And not flying back and forth to San Jose during the week using the corporate jet while feigning living in Oregon.

Gosh. You really should consider how difficult it is for execs, now that their bonus structure is so heavily impacted by stock losses.

Think of the execs guys. It must be hard being them. They probably get lonely at Nike, not having anyone to relate to and all. That’s probably why they like hiring people they know so much.

It is disgusting how much we pay C-levels, but especially after they are long gone

Nike is only about retaliation.

@av

You just have to check the box to ask for no retaliation.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Nike HR is trying to hush things because there is no outlet to speak up in proper channels and sending note to this website.

The speak up portal is a one way ticket to being fired. Employees know that and it shows up In the EMP survey data every year

Prob pointing out that MM will make more this year not working than current employees will make in a lifetime at Nike. Including $45k a month as non compete payments.

Mods, this is public info; available in SEC filings.

What’s interesting is that the whole thread (vs one or two offending posts) was pulled. It happens, but usually only when it is all vile.

Happy layoff season everyone! May the winds of nepotism be in your favor.

99% of the times posts are pulled here are because they are mentioning names or suggesting illegal activities
