@er I just heard is a few more colleagues in marketing that were laid off. Good, smart people that were excellent at their jobs. I think this really hits home that Pearson is a place of employment where everyone is expendable. Why go the extra mile for a company that doesn’t care about you except for what you can contribute to the bottom line. I’m sure leadership in HE is scrambling to make their number this year or their jobs are on the line. I’d like to see the inflated leadership team be held accountable for their lack of leadership and accountability for lack of growth in revenue. Cut that fat rather than the people in the field that contribute every day despite the lack of leadership.

Product lost a few good men so to speak as well as some geo spokes. Seems all cost savings, not better alignment at all. Surprising to see folks fired literally the day they come back from NSM, given zero notice, immediate shut off, and terrible severance bc Pearson butchered that a few years back. Shame on Pearson. This is NOT the place to come work if you want to feel valued.
