One person’s experience… 3 years ago I sent an email to
My Director and HR Partner ( I did not trust my DEI Director to be able to position.
Three years later was Rif’’d
My coaching.. control your destiny and don’t rely on anyone else and put in writing.
In writing shiukd onevday you feel a Director is targeting you for soeaking up.
@a7 That's b/c more than likely, your AD is also being RIF'd.
it's too late to come forward, the names were given two weeks ago and the lists are made. there is no negotiation here, you can only let your boss know about it for the round, if you're going to survive this one.
if your not gone this time around, most likly you will be on the next go around
What do you think you have to negotiate? You would have to refuse to sign the severance agreement (hold-harmless) and prove that you were targeted: being the only person on your team that used FMLA that year, or the only one who requested an accommodation, and then you might be able to scare them enough that legal will suggest adjusting the severance offer.
Negotiate terms…ha ha, that made me laugh
I want to volunteer but my AD said there is no list for her to add me since she has not been asked. I’m sick of chaos honestly, but I do not want to quit with the bonus.
Wait until nov 31st
lists are set. you can't negotiate terms, its take it or leave it
It doesn't work that way... if you were to volunteer, you would've had to have asked long ago, even then there is no guarantee that you would make the list.... It's purely subjective. There is no such thing as asking day off or even week before - your 'request' should have been made months ago....
You dont have a choice in the decision at this point, too late
