question from my manager today, so it's coming soon. JVB org. I was non-committal but am leaning that way.

I’m looking for two more years. I’d really have to think about it if asked.
Do anything you can to escape her reign of te---r
Too bad she’s not the one being volunteered to leave. It’s a matter of time until her overhyped promises will fail yet again and we’ll finally get the announcement that she’s decided to leave the business. Sadly, we’ll be stuck with all of her leftovers that were mini versions or want to be versions of herself. She hangs her hat on Cricket. That success was opportunity and timing for anyone that was there at the time. Since then she’s been shuffled from org to org like an old deck chair only to leave it worse than she found it.
What are they offering now a days?
I wish I would be asked.
I’m watching contractors make bad decisions to then deflect to another contractor group. It’s needless nonsense but Jvb customers experience. I have another accurate name. Cluster f$#@%.
Strike while the iron is hot.
You will not be employee at T within a year. If you don’t volunteer now, you will be voluntold in a future round coming up soon.
I have gone through this exercise several times in my career with T.
@a6
Clearly you have not been with T very long.
What the OP shared simply means that his/her workgroup/org is downsizing and they are looking for any “volunteers” first before they start officially start laying people off.
If you stick around long enough, you will inevitably experience this as well.
At least you know your current standing im team rankings. You should start making an exit plan.
Take it and don’t look back. The downfall is accelerating at unprecedented speeds. This place will cease to exist in 5 years under this SBC management.
