i am in the beginning of my career happy that i saw this from the start and know i understand the real face of corporate i would never give my best or stress/ attach myself to a job . we are just a number will always remember this

Never giving your best is a sure way to be impacted by future layoffs. If you're early in your career I'd suggest changing that attitude ASAP as you're not setting yourself up for success.

People, all of you remaining workers should form unions as soon as possible. Some of you will still be working, some more probably will be laid off. This is very tough to be productive and not loosing your mind thinking if you will be next.

OP, it is good that you are watching and learning. It is also important to not overextend yourself outside of work because you think the paychecks will never end. This should demonstrate to you the need for having emergency funding of 6 months living expenses in easily accessible accounts with low risk.
