Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Will I get fired if I get inconsistent for year end?

I got inconsistent mid year and seem to have been doing okay since. I got some feedback that I need to improve in the later part of the year and since then I have not heard anything negative

I seem to have a meeting for performance review soon where they are saying they will discuss performance and bonus compensation ; not sure what to make of it

The individuals here engage in highly inappropriate behavior and justify their actions through twisted logic. Regrettably, the inmates have taken control of the asylum.

I was let go last year in may... Maybe this is d-mb on my part, but i mentioned the survey not being anonymous while taking the survey... Long story short, I was out. --- I only mentioned it because my manager wanted to single out who left poor reviews the year prior. --- careful on these surveys.

They gave me 1/1 overall, so a 1 on performance and 1 overall on behaviors. Out of the 6 behaviors, they gave me three 2s and three 1s, which they rounded down to a 1 overall. It was complete BS because my manager didn't like me, and I was not inconsistent in performance or behaviors, but falsely rated that way. I'd had over 20 years of excellent reviews prior to this and a recent top achiever. I was also higher than many in my salary band and close to retirement eligibility. In addition, I was honest in my last Voice survey, and I didn't stroke their egos as they might have liked. I was 100% targeted.

@a6, when you mean 1 inconsistent, do you mean on the individual Performance + categories OR one of the overall ratings?

Just be ready to leave at a moments notice, but play it off like you plan to stay there forever and love it there. That's what they expect from you. Loyalty. Any hint that you want to leave or even change groups, feelings will get hurt, they push you out because "you want to leave" and it's like they don't feel wanted any more...like they were cheated on or something. Gets really weird when they get their feeling hurt. But oh well.

Ford is getting ready to fire you with cause - so that means no unemployment since it’s your fault. Start looking for another job. It’s easier to get another job while still employed.

Yeah getting inconsistent is how they prepare you and CYA for them. I've seen people absolutely nailing their objectives be let go. It really doesn't matter. The higher your salary the more likely you are to be on a list. I'm always prepared to vacate at a moments notice. Never planned to call any job my permanent home. That's how they like to have you think but planning on staying anywhere now for very long really won't serve you well, but it will serve them well if you do.

I hope not, but the nastiest people I know in life work for this company, so it’s not out of the question that someone would want to sc--w with your life for a rise. Psychopaths have taken over this company.

If they want to get rid of you, you will receive inconsistent on your year-end PR regardless of your actual performance. If you do receive inconsistent on your PR, expect to be let go within a month. This is how they operated with me and several others that I know, and I didn't even get inconsistent twice, but once. Good luck, but prepare for the worst, assuming being let go is the worst.

Just make sure you get your 4 badge swipes per week and you're golden.

If you haven't, then you are in trouble. Anything else work related or objectives doesn't matter.
