$T stock declines after CEO doubles down on RTO

$T down nearly 10% after Stankey doubles down on RTO. Wall Street’s not buying the “culture” fairy tale either. You can’t rebuild trust by draining morale and calling it collaboration. That 8/1 email did irreparable damage. Put a nice hole in his golden parachute too. PROOF RTO DOES NOT WORK!

The Investment Analysts see very little future growth now. Many have changed their guidance from "buy" to "hold" or "sell". The investment community is losing faith in T as a growth stock now, and the Dividend is lower than it has been historically, even at this price.

LOL … The reality is these id--ts laid off a large portion of their biggest shareholders of company stock. On top of that the stock these people sold off like myself was so leveraged up at an unrealistic valuation gets us where we are now. I suspect that more people will sell off their stock when reality sinks in. Good luck because we haven’t seen all the pull back yet.

@cm so if RTO is so good and improves the bottom line then why are the vast majority still operating in a hybrid model? Must be a low IQ union troll

@a2 it’s been 2 years. How long will it be “becoming” an industry standard? What an id--t. There’s about 5 companies who 5x8 and 0 are in the telecom industry. Just the same old boring stale false post from a low IQ cuck

@cm you clearly don’t understand that this is just a joke. Earlier this year everyone was saying the stock was up because of RTO. You’re d-mb.

OP needs a better understanding of causation. The share prices of the big 3 telecoms retreated to where they were in March ( Effect ). RTO has become standard. A reasonable person would expect the share prices of all businesses to mirror this pattern if RTO policies were the Cause. That is not currently in evidence. Chicken Little, the sky is not falling. Performance evaluation is not your forte, so try to hold on to your day job.

Stocks tanked after the employee group conference webcast. The one where the stupid HR lady Told stankey he was smart because he graduated from ucla. Then he proceeded to say we’re like McDonald’s but should be Target. Huh 🤔

I got virtual, I don’t have to go into the office.
Why would I move on boomer?

I’d rather not make all my team mates go into the office for literally no reason though.

Don’t make me take your applesauce too, I’ll do it.

Barclays downgraded T. Nothing to do with RTO, stank or anything outside of the financial.
I do think T has serious issues and culture, leadership and product portfolio all play a part. But nothing will change. That would require a change of direction and he have the accelerator to the floor in Whatever direction we are heading.
But happy serve customers week 😂

They are committed on showing their over priced real estate has value on paper. You can’t do that when these buildings are empty. This telecom is more of a Fugazi in many cases and shareholders are starting to understand this is more of India Telecom and Telegraph than American Telecom and Telegraph. It’s obvious when customers make a support call and they are connected with a thick Indian accent from a call center overseas.

Rto worked for its intended purpose, voluntary headcount reductions. On my team alone, 60% found jobs with more flexibility and left.
