Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

MCBU Town hall

My guess is that they will only announce a couple of more levels of the organization today, not all of them. Thoughts?

I left work today and got home feeling beat and exhausted. Blood pressure up. The stress is not good.

Gotta specifically ask is “this position XYZ staying in region or being centralized in HOU?” They know… they just don’t want to make an actual slide that anyone cares about. Just bullsh-t OE cr-p. But RBU TH… they reluctantly answered these questions, when put on the spot.

"PSG 25 and below won't even be told if their position is in scope until May 12-16"
This is helpful info if it's valid, not being critical.
IT was told we would apply for job positions in April (therefore in scope announcement in April) for a mid June selection announcement.

There will not be boxes of employees. PSG 25 and below won't even be told if their position is in scope until May 12-16. We've still got 2 months before the people who actually do work even get any real information. I feel like my time has been swindled every time I listen to one of these townhalls.
