@zg when you say Care Solutions….it seems that band 4s are on the line considering it’s Directors and Senior Managers…..any thoughts on band 3 where most of the nurses/case management sits?

I've heard Care solutions is taking a hit this round. Each director and Sr manager was asked to identify at least 1 team member to let go.
@ej does this include subsidiary companies?
@jz it depends on which state you live. Most states don’t approve the unemployment claim if you voluntary quit the job
@jz It will be very hard to get unemployment. This counts as a voluntary quit.
You'd likely be denied and have to appeal.
If we take the VRP option some are saying we can’t file for unemployment. Any idea on this? Thanks.
Just heard from a very good source that February through March is going to be ugly for layoffs at Cigna. If a large number of folks refuse the retirement packages, there will be more layoffs to reach their numbers.
I don't have exact dates, but historically larger layoffs have happened on the 4th Thursday of the month on the months of January, February, and March. However, there have been layoffs every month, usually on the 4th Thursday of the month for about the last 2-3 years.
January 29 is the big JE date but there may be more in February.
@dp They don’t gain much by JEing contractors.
@dj are they going to keep contractors and layoff FTE?
@ab Same. I have heard 2/19 for FTEs in the technology space
@a5 confirmed yes it happened
Is Sales and Implementation getting hit? Heard that no VRP offers went out to implementation.
@a5 can you elaborate the areas
@a5 What department?
I heard 2/19
@a5 do you know what areas?
Looks like it started today. Tons of layoffs before lunch.
