Chevron culture? Oh, it’s alive—just mostly in old training slides and forgotten slogans.
At GOA Exploration, the energy’s missing, and the manager’s leadership style is “good luck.”
ChevronWay? More like ChevronNoWay... but hey, at least the printer still works. Sometimes.
Welcome to GOA Exploration, 20th floor, Louisiana 1500. Where the coffee’s lukewarm, the enthusiasm’s nonexistent, and the manager? A masterclass in how not to lead. Truly inspiring stuff. If you’re into chaos with a side of confusion, you’re in the right place..
Haha.. I was in W-1. Already seeing the a--hole hiding from accountability who sc--wed up creating the structure.. I can tell you it was a blunder.
I wish I had a quarter for every time I’ve heard the phrase “op model” in my career…
JU the HR IT Manager. This is the scapegoat we must assign for imagineIT.
The people who coined the phrase "Winning In Any Environment" must have had a significant payoff and retired by now. They probably sat around and threw darts at a board with various percentages of cuts, and then implemented whatever the dart hit. No operating models are needed. Same for these selection rounds.
It doesn’t matter. The people that developed it will get huge bonuses. Then the people in 2 years that blow it all up will get huge bonuses. Then we will bring back McKinsey and more huge bonuses will be doled out.
@a5+1k3mekt5z That usually gets deleted I think. Something to do with the site rules maybe.
@a5 This site is heavily censored, so good luck with that.
