4 day office start date

I'm a manager in Manchester and I have just been told today that despite what the in office scorecard for flex employees is telling my team, they must start doing 4 days a week from 1st September (despite one week to go of the 4 week period). Seems pedantic and fussy to me.

Anyone else been told this? Not sure how will enforced.

You are correct I opened a ticket with HR who said the same thing and that your dashboard may not be correct.

@a5
Cancel the summer party and get a tiny bonus…. LOL. I am sure you are all broken up over that. I would have to be forced at g-n
Point to attend something id--tic like that.

This whole hoteling and booking of desks through yet another flawed bureaucratic ‘system’ is proof that this place is doing this just to annoy, irritate and frustrate people.
Even 20 years ago, no one had to ‘book’ for desks. Either you can accomodate people or you cannot. This isnt like going to ‘Olive Garden’ and getting a beeper when your table is ready. OMG, This company is run by hateful greedy mo--ns who need comeuppance.

Amazing to me. McKenzie and the “leaders” of this dump want everybody back in the office, but there’s not enough space… Which was fairly obvious to most of us.

In addition to that, they are instituting that you have to book a desk for the day? Absolutely ridiculous. That type of stuff typically happens at companies that you don’t go into the office often… Not companies were you have to be in office 4 days a week

Do we have a list of locations not going live with the 4 days from September? I have heard of Pune and Wroclaw.

@OP A week ago, in Poland, all employees received an official announcement that their four-day office shift would be postponed until October 1st. The reason was a lack of sufficient desks and ongoing office renovations.
There are still no details on how to book desks. There's still no guarantee there will be enough desks for everyone.

A week ago, we received news that due to the cancellation of the annual summer party, employees would receive a one-time bonus. This bonus ranged from $80 (PLN 300) to $190 (PLN 700).

MCR as well - not heard anything on this, have heard about the “intelligent desk booking” malarkey that’s likely to be hastily implemented
