Wow 40 years with Oracle, given their policy with minimal raises and 0 cost of living adjustments, employees get poorer the longer they stay at this company and eventually your salary is so derailed from the current market.
So that said after 40’years what was she making??
70k USD maybe?? I would not be surprised if she makes a little more than what a brand new IC2 makes coming into the company.
Was she laid off or did she retire with a nice severance package?
